Mono Testing
Mono testing is one of the many services we provide. Mononucleosis is an infectious disease caused by a virus. The infection attacks antibodies in the blood, which is what a test looks for. This test can usually be done through a throat culture, the same way children are tested for flu or strep.

RSV Testing
Our pediatric doctors can also test your newborn for RSV, respiratory syncytial virus. This test is made to detect the presence of RSV in nasal secretions to determine a diagnosis. If your newborn has a weakened immune system or is showing symptoms such as a runny nose, decrease in appetite, sneezing, cough, wheezing, you should get your child tested right away. RSV is usually most contagious during the fall and in early spring, meaning there is a wide time frame as to when your child can contract this virus.
Hearing Testing
Hearing tests should be done for children as soon as they enter school. Most children start school between three years of age to five years of age. The reason for this is because they can easily contract infections, especially when they are around other children.

EKG Testing
